At Cheviot Vets we consider ourselves environmentally aware. We are looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint and cut waste.

We have reduced our paper usage over the last 3 years by switching to digital systems of producing invoices, statements, admission forms, lab results and consent forms. Any wastepaper is recycled into notepads for the staff to use on the premises.

Since 2020 we have been collecting customer email addresses so monthly accounts are now emailed and only a handful are still printed and sent out by post!

We have solar panels installed on our building with a MCS certificate. This certifies low-carbon products and installations used to produce electricity and head from renewable sources, it is a mark of quality. Membership of MCS demonstrates adherence to these recognised industry standards, highlighting quality, competency, and compliance.
